Pediatric Physical Therapy
Having a child that is unable to roll on the floor, sit up, walk, or ride a bike may be concerning to a parent. Pediatric physical therapists work with children and their families to address strength and endurance issues, to facilitate motor development and function, to improve coordination and balance issues, and to promote their child's functional independence in the home, school, and community. |
Pediatric Pelvic Floor Therapy
Having a child experience difficulty with bowel/bladder control can be a stressful and emotional situation for both the parent and the child. These children are often left feeling shame and embarrassment which can lead to behavioral changes. Millions of children suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction and are often not getting the help that they need. Physical therapy is a non-invasive approach that can be effective in helping the child gain control and independence with bowel/bladder function. |
Children's Yoga
Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility. The slow movement and deep breathing also helps to increase blood flow and warm up muscles at the start of our sessions. Yoga also provides emotional balance to better help my clients focus on our sessions.
